How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Since I was 17, about. Differnet accounts. My first lasted six years, but I needed a fresh start, and this is it.
What does your username mean?
Nothing, according to myself.
Describe yourself in three words.
Driven. Passionate. Difficult.
Are you left or right handed?
Broken handed, at the moment. Sadly, that means the same as right handed. Yeah, I'm a typing lefty. You should see my handwriting: I could make a fortune as a doctor.
What was your first deviation?
Mostly awkward. The first submissions are the hardest and the ones one expects the most from, despite logic dictating that when no one knows you, no one sees you. It was either a piece of writing or a rather bad photomanipulation.
What is your favourite type of art to create?
I'm a writer. I write.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
None. Instant mastery would lack the sense of achievement. I wouldn't know what to do with it. If I want to change things up, I'll work for it.
What was your first favourite?
I find it impossible to even guess at it, but my favourites on this account, which for all intents and purposes has become my one and only account, clearly state that it is this one:
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Visual art. Drawings, paintings -- I am in awe of people who can make their ideas happen in that way.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
SimplySilent. Who knows me knows that.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
SimplySilent makes the top of the list, but there are quite a few, like my dear tagger, TehAngelsCry. To be frank, I've had so many good experiences with fellow artists, I cannot in good conscience exclude anyone I have met along the road. You guys know I mean you.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Dropping SimplySilent's name is becoming kind of a thing here, but she opened up a lot of avenues to me I didn't know existed. She's always there for me, always along for the ride, not reigning in my crazy but going crazy with me; she has seen glimpses of my at my worst and not turned away, and she was there for me during some of the most difficult periods of my time, such as my cancer and my brother's suicide. I can count on her and I trust her. When I say that I love her I mean it. The game some deviants have made of it was fun, but there is a kernel of truth to it. I wouldn't have minded having her as a sister.
What are your preferred tools to create art?
Open Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3DS Max, Substance Painter. These are my main go-to tools, but I also use a ton of smaller applications to get my art going.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Wherever my mind happens to be at any given moment.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Don't have one!
Stay strong and be fierce, people.
